Turkey Run Cross POSTPONED

Due to excessive rain and threatening hurricane, the Turkey Run Cross has been postponed.

We are currently working to identify an alternate date. All current entries will be transferred. Refunds will be provided for racers not able to attend the rescheduled event.

Todd Stadium Crit Results

The Todd Stadium Crit was a great day of racing and fun. The weather cooperated and we had a fair turnout of racers. Most fields were large enough to make it interesting and we had several repeat races in other categories.

The Oceana Pawn and Fat Frogs Racing teams were out in force. Thank you to everyone that volunteered, we were there in the dark getting the course ready, I have never seen so many cones in my life! The registration went very smoothly and so did the results.

Congrats to all that stood on the podium!

Thanks to Shockley’s Sweet Shop for donating the cupcakes for the primes.

Also like to thank Cameron Holland and his crew from James River Velo for all the assistance in getting the course ready. A special thanks to all that stuck around and helped keep the event going and for course clean up when the promoter bailed!

Looking forward to next year!

2014 Turkey Run Cross

AND WHAT A WEEKEND IT WAS!! Hope everyone had a great time at the cross race this weekend. Thank you for supporting the Virginia Cross Series. The cross race had everything–mud, sand, ups, downs, overs and throughs and the  DIRT CRIT was super fun!!

Special Thanks to our sponsors: Farm Bureau and Fat Frogs Virginia Beach and to Mary Hughes for the beautiful glass engraving.

Thanks to the Virginia Beach Wheelmen and all that came out and helped with the hammering, digging, shoveling, mowing, blowing weed whacking, steaking, hay bale moving and caution tape hanging!!

Thank you to the officials: Cor, Brian, Andy and Mike.
